오프라인 캐시백 앱 '캐시모어'를 운영하는 브릿지웍스가 중소벤처기업부의 팁스(TIPS) 프로그램에 최종 선정됐다고 21일 밝혔다.
팁스는 민간 투자사가 먼저 스타트업에 투자하면 정부가 연구개발(R&D) 자금, 사업화 자금, 마케팅 비용 등을 연계 지원하는 대표적인 기술창업 육성 프로그램이다. 브릿지웍스는 매쉬업벤처스의 추천을 받아 이번 팁스 프로그램에 선정됐다.
캐시모어는 사용자가 영수증을 업로드하면 즉시 캐시백을 제공하는 서비스다. 단순한 리워드 앱을 넘어 오프라인 소비 데이터를 실시간으로 수집·분석하는 플랫폼으로 진화했다. 현재까지 누적 100만 건 이상의 영수증 데이터를 확보해 전국 단위 소비 패턴을 구매 내역 단위로 분석하고 있다.
브릿지웍스는 이번 팁스 선정을 통해 온라인에서만 가능했던 성과형 마케팅을 오프라인에서도 구현할 수 있는 기술 고도화와 서비스 확장에 박차를 가할 계획이다. 소상공인과 다양한 일상 소비재 브랜드가 실제 매출 전환을 기준으로 한 마케팅을 손쉽게 집행할 수 있도록 지원하고, 소비자에게는 더 풍부한 리워드와 합리적인 소비 경험을 제공하는 것이 목표다.
박태훈 브릿지웍스 대표는 "이번 팁스 선정은 저희가 준비해온 방향성과 가능성을 확인할 수 있는 좋은 계기라 생각한다"며 "오프라인에서도 데이터 기반 성과형 마케팅이 가능하다는 것을 증명하고, 소비자와 브랜드 모두가 체감할 수 있는 실질적인 혜택을 만들어가겠다"고 밝혔다.
