3D 모델링 AI 스타트업 리빌더AI(대표 김정현)가 프리A 라운드에서 45억 원 투자를 유치했다. 이번 라운드에는 아식스벤처스(Asics Ventures), 메디치인베스트먼트, IBK캐피탈, 신용보증기금이 참여했다.
리빌더AI는 2D 이미지를 사실적인 3D 데이터로 자동 생성하는 AI 엔진을 개발했다. 이 기술을 기반으로 스마트폰 촬영만으로 제품을 스캔해 고품질 3D 콘텐츠를 제작하는 ‘VRIN 3D’를 선보였으며, 올해는 스케치 이미지만으로 3D 모델링, 제조용 패턴, CAD 데이터까지 자동 생성하는 통합 솔루션 ‘VRING:ON’을 출시했다. VRING:ON은 CES 2026에서 Fashion Tech와 AI 부문 혁신상을 받았다.
회사는 신발 디자인과 솔 구조 시뮬레이션에 필요한 정밀 파라메트릭 3D 데이터를 자동 생성하는 ‘에이전트형 AI 설계 시스템’도 개발했다. 소재와 제조 방식에 따라 데이터 생성 범위를 세밀하게 조정할 수 있어 실제 제작과의 호환성이 높다. 이 기술력을 기반으로 아식스벤처스로부터 투자를 유치했으며, 소프트웨어 라이선스 계약도 체결했다. 사우디아라비아와는 가구 디자인·제조 공정용 AI 기술 도입 계약을, 홍콩 ODM 공장과는 100만 달러 규모의 소프트웨어 커스텀 및 라이선스 계약을 진행하며 해외 비즈니스를 확대하고 있다.
김정현 리빌더AI 대표는 "이번 투자 유치는 우리의 AI 기술력이 글로벌 시장에서 인정받은 결과라고 생각한다"며 "특히 아식스와 같은 글로벌 브랜드와의 협력은 제조 산업에서 AI 기술의 실질적 가치를 입증하는 중요한 이정표"라고 밝혔다. 이어 "디자인 스케치부터 실제 제조용 데이터까지 자동 생성하는 우리의 통합 솔루션은 제품 개발 기간을 획기적으로 단축하고 비용을 절감할 수 있다"며 "신발, 가구 등 커머스 영역을 넘어 3D 디자인이 필요한 다양한 산업으로 사업을 확대해 나갈 것"이라고 밝혔다.
리빌더AI는 그동안 네이버 D2SF와 KB인베스트먼트 등으로부터 투자를 받으며 성장을 이어왔다. 2025년 Entrepreneurship World Cup에서는 글로벌 TOP100 스타트업에 선정됐다.
