매쉬업벤처스(대표 이택경), 한국벤처투자(대표 이대희), 스타트업얼라이언스(센터장 이기대)가 『스타트업 투자유치: 창업자 출신 VC가 알려주는 펀딩 가이드』를 공동 출간한다고 28일 밝혔다.
『스타트업 투자유치』는 창업자와 투자자, 정책기관 등 다양한 스타트업 생태계 구성원의 시각에서 풀어낸 사례 중심의 투자 유치 가이드북이다. 창업자의 의사 결정부터 계약 체결 이후까지 투자 유치 전 과정을 설명하고 있으며, 선배 창업가들의 경험담, 투자 유치 시 주의할 점, 투자자의 관점 등 현실적인 조언을 담았다.
해당 도서는 2021년 발간되어 많은 창업자들에게 도움을 준 바 있으며, 당시 웹상에서 PDF로 무료 배포됐다. 독자들의 요청에 힘입어 정식 출간을 결정했고, 2025년 현재 스타트업 생태계 변화와 새로운 트렌드까지 반영해 내용을 업데이트했다. 판매가는 7,900원 이며, 현재 교보문고 온라인 서점에서 예약 판매 중이다. 공식 출간일은 9월 3일이며 전국 온오프라인 서점에서 만나볼 수 있다.
한국벤처투자는 창업 활성화를 위한 노력의 일환으로 본 도서의 기획 단계부터 참여했다. 모태펀드 운용기관이자 공적 투자기관으로서 그동안 축적한 투자 경험과 노하우를 바탕으로 창업자들이 알아야 할 투자 생태계의 구조와 흐름을 체계적으로 정리했다. 이를 통해 벤처투자회사, 액셀러레이터 등 창업자들이 겪는 투자 유치의 어려움을 해소하는 데 도움을 주고자 했다.
이택경 매쉬업벤처스 대표는 "창업자와 투자자 모두를 경험하며 알게 된 수많은 투자 유치 과정의 시행착오들을 줄여주고 싶었다"며 "이 책이 창업자들에게 실질적인 도움을 주는 나침반 역할을 하기를 바란다"고 말했다.
