공간 유지보수 서비스 '홈코'를 운영하는 홈앤코(공동대표 류지호, 국형주)가 중소벤처기업부의 팁스(TIPS) 일반트랙에 선정됐다. 이를 통해 최대 5억원의 정부 연구개발 자금과 사업화·해외 마케팅 분야에서 추가 3억원의 연계 지원을 받는다.
홈코는 주거공간 수리 서비스를 표준화된 프로세스로 제공하는 기업이다. 업계 최초로 표준 가격제를 도입해 견적의 불투명성을 해소했으며, 무료 현장 점검과 1분 간편 신청 서비스를 제공한다. 출시 6개월 만에 시장 검증을 완료했고, 카카오벤처스와 엑스퀘어드로부터 총 7억원의 시드 투자를 유치했다.
이번 연구개발 과제를 통해 홈코는 세 가지 핵심 기술을 개발한다. 첫째, 현장 데이터 기반 수리 데이터베이스를 구축하고, 둘째, 견적 자동화 및 공정 추천 AI 엔진을 개발하며, 셋째, 시공 품질 관리 및 기술자 교육 시스템을 마련한다. 현장 기술자가 촬영한 사진·영상 데이터를 AI가 자동 분석하는 시스템도 개발해, 기술자 숙련도에 관계없이 일정 수준 이상의 서비스 품질을 보장할 계획이다.
홈코는 향후 시설관리(FM)와 자산관리(AM) 분야로 사업을 확장하고, 글로벌 진출도 추진할 예정이다.
국형주 홈코 대표는 "이번 팁스 선정을 통해 데이터와 AI 기술로 국내 집수리 산업의 구조적 비효율을 해결하는 데 속도를 낼 수 있게 됐다"며 "국내를 넘어 글로벌 주거 유지보수 시장의 새로운 표준을 제시하는 기업으로 성장하겠다"고 밝혔다.
