Samsung kept its No.1 position in the Global smartphone market the in 3rd quarter of 2012.
According to Bloomberg, Samsung sold 5,6300,000 smartphones in the 3rd quarter of 2012 which is the highest record in global telecom market.
Nokia takes 2nd place with the 18.7% market share in terms of the volume sales after Samsung, which enjoys a market share of 23.7%. Apple was 3rd with 15% market share. LG’s recent intensive push to reach the top among smartphone makers has helped them to be ranked 4th after Apple.
The telecom market has grown by 2.4% compared to last year.
