Facebook's Co-Founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg will visit Korea at the end of this month, according to Yonhap News.

Seeing that Bill Gates and Larry Page visited Korea recently, it seems likely that Zuckerberg, too, will discuss the future of IT with the Park administration.

People are speculating that he will visit Cheongwadae (the presidential residence in Korea, or the 'blue house') at the end of June. He will be spending about a day or two here. What will they talk about?

Well, in Park's meeting with Page, they talked about (to name a few):

• Park's "creative economy" drive to create new business opportunities and more jobs in Korea
• How to combine information and communications technologies with the cultural and other sectors
• Google's affiliation with Korea

The South Korean president was quoted as saying: "I believe that the quality of life can be improved through technological developments... I think it is important to create a 'venture ecosystem' that [helps people] not to be afraid of challenges and get back on their feet even when they fail."

This 'venture ecosystem' is one of the key words for Korea this year. Page responded by saying South Korea has the necessary "smart" technologies and the infrastructure to best utilize its human resources. He had earlier met with Samsung Electronics' executives (where they talked about the OLED technology and Galaxy S4) before seeing Park at the presidential office.
