Samsung kept its No.1 position in the Global smartphone market the in 3rd quarter of 2012. According to Bloomberg, Samsung sold 5,6300,000 smartphones in the 3rd quarter of 2012 which is the highest record in global telecom market.

Samsung published its advertisement showing the superiority of their map service, slamming iPhone’s new map service which has been criticized by many users. In the advertisement, a Google map on the Galaxy screen was shown with the title “You always know where you are with Samsung”.
