According to 'The Bridge' a Japanese startup media service provider, ‘Blind’ an anonymous social networking service for company employees has received an investment from Japanese investment company Global Brain as well as Silicon Valley’s DCM. The company launched their social networking service back in December 2013 and was among the beGLOBAL San Francisco's Top 10 startups in 2014. Currently, Blind's aim to provide 'Open Communication to a Closed Community'.
The service provided by Blind allows employees of the same company people and from the same field of work to freely communicate anonymously. The service is provided to over 800 companies in Korea, Japan and USA. The service was also a trigger point behind the recent ‘Peanut Diversion’ scandal that disgraced Korean Air’s Cho Hyun Ah.
Recently, Team Blind officially registered their company in Seattle, USA . Later this year, the Seattle company will provide bulletin board service to both Microsoft and Amazon.
Details behind the background or the amount of the investment by Silicon Valley's DCM and Japanese investor Global Brain has not been disclosed.
