1) 싱가폴에 본사를 둔 Affle은 소비자와 기업 고객을 대상으로 하는 많은 종류의 모바일 솔루션을 만드는 기업으로 일본의 가장 큰 모바일 광고 회사인 D2 Communications로부터 천만 달러를 조달했다. 두 회사는 서로의 광고 플랫폼을 레버리징하기 위해 전략적 제휴를 맺은 바 있다. D2C 이외에도 마이크로소프트, Itochu, Bennet Coleman & Company이 투자했다.

2) 제 4회 세계기업가정신포럼이 싱가폴에서 오는 11월 2일에서 5일까지 열린다. 60개 이상 국가에서 기업가, 전문가, 학술계, 정계 인사들로 이루어진 씽크탱크 멤버들로 구성이 되었다. 일반 대중에게 공개되는 행사는 아니나 11월 4일 난양기술대학교(Nanyang Technology University)에서 열리는 몇몇 워크샵과 갈라 디너에는 참석할 수 있다.

3) NatWest International의 한 연구에 따르면, 싱가폴에 있는 외국인들에게 싱가폴이 스타트업을 육성하는데 가장 좋은 국가로 뽑혔다. 홍콩과 미국이 각각 2등과 3등을 차지했다. 이 연구는 국가가 낮은 세율과 관료정치의 효율성 등 관습을 통해 기업가정신을 촉진시키는 정도와 경제 상황, 인프라 등을 고려했다.
