On the 2nd September, Brat Village an O2O startup announced that it had secured an investment from Strong Ventures and East Gate Partners.  This is the second investment is as many months following a recent investment from K Cube Ventures.

Brat Village which was formed in December 2014, services total home care provider Doctor House. This service is quickly gaining a reputation as the go to O2O home care service provider for those wanting to repair or renovate their homes.

In April, Doctor House released their beta version from which improvements and refinements are being made for a full version release and update to the beta version in October.

Additional to the improvements, the previously speculated function of varying contractor engagement models is expected to be released.  The release of this version is expected to bring a renewed sense of confidence and reliability to the home care market where variations to the original quoted price is considered normal.

Bang Sung Min a representative from Brat Village said, "the ultimate aim for Doctor House is to bring quick and easy solutions to everyday problems encountered by home owners". "Through this investment, we want to extend the service beyond the current simplicity to a service that provides all the solutions in a quick and easy manner; become the platform that offers total home care services".

Lee Eun Jae from East Gate Partners explained "We believe that the domestic market for O2O home care is on the verge of expansion and Brat Village is a company with the skills to meet this demand".

Bae Gi Hong from Strong Ventures said, "the home care market has been stagnant with no change for decades, the home care industry is now riddled with inefficiencies".  "Though technology the lost faith in the industry can be restores and changed".

Brat Village has successfully secured quick follow investments for its O2O home care service so it will be interesting to follow the type of changes they will bring to the market through Doctor House.
